Excerpt:
...From the evidence of his sketchbooks and the spray-painted
or partly prepared sheets that were meant to serve as
the surfaces of new works, items that were left behind
when he died, it appears that Krüsi savoured the creative
process and was a tireless experimenter. He used collage
techniques and also spray-painted over real fern leaves
to create decorative patterns on his picture-making
surfaces.

Often he laid down colours in what appeared to be a
random manner. Later he would pick out shapes from these
colour compositions, forms that suggested human faces,
trees or animals. These he would highlight with bold,
black outlines.
