'ABCD: A Collection of Art Brut’ presents an impressive selection from the collection amassed by the organisation ABCD (Art Brut Connaissance and Diffusion), whose ongoing mission is to promote knowledge and awareness of art brut. Art brut designates a category of art like no other, this term literally means ‘raw art’ by self taught artists. The ABCD Collection of works is one of the greatest private collections of art brut in its purest form. Included in these works are such masters as Wölfli, Darger, Madge Gill, Carlo and Aloïse.
